Emergency School Closures
Classes may be cancelled due to emergencies or bad weather
For Credit or Community Education (non-credit) classes held at the Littleton campus, Art and Design Center, Castle Rock Campus and Parker Campus
The following closure process applies. If class is held at a public school, that school’s closure process applies. For other locations, call the location for closure information.
If the College decides to close, a notice will be made on our Announcements line (303.797.5700, press 9), via employee voicemail and on our website. We also notify local radio and TV stations for broadcast.
For morning classes
The College will confirm closure no later than 5:30 a.m.
For afternoon and evening classes
The College will confirm closure no later than Noon for 1 to 5 p.m. classes.
For evening classes
The College will confirm closure no later than 4 p.m. for 5:30 p.m. or later starts.
