Ins and Outs of Inn Keeping — Can It Work for You?

Roxanne Kolbe and Becky Goldsmith own an inn matchmaker company. They teach how to find and finance properties for the Bed and Breakfast Innkeepers of Colorado Association (BBIC). Additionally they are part of the inn valuations panel for PAII (the national innkeeper’s organization) and track inn sales in Colorado for that organization.

How to Really Make it in Voice-Overs!

Voice-overs are hot today! You don’t have to be an actor to get voice-over work, but it certainly doesn’t hurt! With such notable talent as James Earl Jones, Linda Hunt, and Donald Sutherland lending their voices to commercials, films, and videos, one would think that it would be next to impossible to break into this field. Not so! Discover some exciting new ways to get around the competition and actually turn voice-overs into a thriving full or part-time business!
Trish Basanyi, successful voice-over artist (Pepsi, Wal-Mart, Verizon), will introduce students to the voice-over business as a whole. She will talk about the numerous opportunities, the income potential, and the all-important demo and how to have it produced. Step up to the microphone to do some practice recording, and best of all, hear the results! Dan Levine, a well-known commercial producer and Tony Award-nominated Broadway composer will discuss voice-over technique in a recorded portion of the class.
