CORRECTED AA Degree Creative Writing Emphasis (pg. 33-34)

• Degree is now called: Associate of Arts Creative Writing Course of Study.
• Blanket exemption (approved by committee from specific course requirements in Mathematics, Social Sciences and Sciences. Students must still fulfill credit requirement, but can choose any course in those areas.
• Change VII Genre Specific Courses to VII Creative Writing Course Outside Chosen Genre.
• Change VIII Students will choose one of the following genres to VIII Genre Specific Courses.
• Under the heading Poetry Genre, LIT 240 Poets and Their Poems add 3 credit hours).
• The title, Creative Writing Genre, needs to be changed to Creative Nonfiction Genre.
• The title, Creative Writing Genre, needs to be changed to Screenwriting Genre.
• Change Total credit points from 61 to 60.
