Associate of Applied Science Degree

This program is designed to help prepare students to work in technical positions in communication fields. These industries include cable, television, satellite, telephone companies with communication network applications and other related industries.

Program content has been structured to give a basic education to all graduates entering this field. Emphasis has been placed on providing a common core of training for all students due to the convergence of the communication industries.

Broadband Technical Management

To pursue this degree you must be employed by a cable television company that provides training through the National Cable Television Training Institute (NCTI). In this option the required core classes are limited to CTC 150 Data Communications, CTC 170 Voice Communications, and CTC 215 Transmission Systems. This certificate is not eligible for financial aid. Contact the Financial Aid Office if further clarification is necessary.
