Students completing this certificate will be among the elite in
the broadband industry, well-suited to supervise those who
deploy and service cable modems, constant bit rate (CBR)
telephony and digital video in broadband networks. Holders of
this certificate can expect to work as managers of field service
technicians, bandwidth access technicians, head-end technicians,
NOC technicians, etc., with broadband companies that
are deploying advanced services.

This certificate is for professionals hoping to advance in the
rapidly growing field of broadband telephony.
Those completing this certificate can expect to work with
broadband cable, RBOCs, LECs, CLECs and DSL companies
that are deploying advanced services such as ISDN, DSL,
VDSL, VoIP and digital video. Also, individuals who have
worked in the telephone industry will find this option helpful to
move beyond POTS into supervision of full service broadband
telephony technicians.
