The Arapahoe Community College Teacher Training Academy was created
to prepare tomorrow's teachers. Start your preparation at ACC and
let us help you accomplish your dream of becoming a teacher.
Our program is designed to enable you to complete the first 60
hours needed to become an elementary or secondary education teacher.
We have options available for you to easily transfer to Colorado
public or private colleges to complete your Bachelor's degree and
earn a Colorado Teacher's licensure.
Elementary Education Teacher Preparation Program (EETPP)
Arapahoe Community College has connected with Adams State College
and Douglas County Schools so you can connect to your future in
teaching. The Elementary Education Teacher Preparation Program (EETPP)
allows you to take your first two years of course work at ACC and
then transfer to Adams State College for the final two years. The
difference is that you take your upper-division ASC classes at University
Center at Chaparral in Douglas County without traveling to the ASC
campus in Alamosa. Read
more about this program.
Statewide Elementary Education Transfer
Arapahoe Community College also works with all Colorado four year
colleges offering a Teacher Education program. You can take your
first two years of course work at ACC and then transfer to your
college of choice to complete your Bachelor's degree and receive
a Teacher's licensure.
