Paying for College
While ACC has one of the lowest tuition rates among Colorado’s public higher education institutions, we understand that some of our students need to seek an even more affordable education. That’s why we offer many options to help our students pay for college.
Options to Help Pay for College
Financial Aid
Financial aid encompasses all the types of financial assistance you and your family can use to help pay for your education.
Scholarships
Scholarships are offered by ACC and outside organizations. If you are eligible, you can use these to pay for your education. They do not have to be repaid.
Grants
Grants are offered by the state and federal governments. If you qualify, you can use these to pay for your education. They do not have to be repaid.
Student Loans
You have to apply and be approved for student loans, which are a form of financial aid that will need to be paid back once you complete your education.
Veteran Benefits
ACC supports veterans and military-connected students by creating opportunities to better themselves through meaningful benefits and resources.
Work Study
ACC has a work study program that can provide you with an on-campus job to earn additional money and reinforce your educational programs and career goals.
College Opportunity Fund
The College Opportunity Fund (COF) is set annually by the Colorado General Assembly and is the state’s contribution to resident tuition rate. If you are seeking an even more affordable education, our financial aid advisors are great resources to find more ways to pay for college.
