(October 4, 2010 - Littleton, Colorado) - Arapahoe Community College’s Colorado Gallery of the Arts will host a monthlong art show called “Mixed Bag.” The event, named for its variety of artwork, will feature high-profile artists from the community. The exhibition runs from Oct. 12 – Nov. 12 on Arapahoe Community College’s main campus and is free and open to the public.
Featured artists include: John Bonath, photography; Lincoln Phillips, photography; Harold O’Connor, jewelry and metals; Vicky Smith, ceramic sculptures; Charles Parson, wall constructions, drawings and small sculptures; Robert St. John, linocuts, watercolor and found paper; Bob Smith, raku-fired ceramics; Deborah Howard, mixed media and painting; and Blake Milteer, photography.
The exhibition will be open from noon to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and will stay open until 7 p.m. on Tuesdays. The gallery will also be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 16 and Saturday, Nov. 6. A reception will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Oct. 15. The reception will be open to the public.
The gallery is located on the first floor at the northeast end of the building called the Annex. ACC’s Main Campus is located at 5900 S. Santa Fe Drive, just south of historic downtown Littleton.
