Booth Space Available for Vendors at ACC Chalk Art Festival

(May 19, 2010 - Littleton, Colorado) - The Arapahoe Community College Foundation will host a chalk art festival on Saturday, Sept. 11, at the ACC Main Campus, and booth space is available for non-artisan businesses, restaurants and caterers. As a reminder, the more diversified and new or unique your merchandise, the more likely you are to have visitors. Think about how you can entice people to stay and play at your booth with a free activity, a drawing for a donated item, or an interactive opportunity at your booth.”

Booth spaces are a single 10 feet x 10 feet for non-food vendors. For food vendors, single booth spaces will be 10 feet x 20 feet (10 feet wide from the street and 20 feet deep). Additional space is available per the instructions on the terms and conditions in the booth application section. The application deadline is Aug. 1, 2010, but spaces will be given out on a first-come first-served basis with the first applications getting some of the best spaces. The number of food vendors will be limited. Applications can be downloaded at the Webpage http://www.chalkituptoeducation.com. For questions regarding booths call Sara at 303. 907.4452.

During the festival, prizes will be awarded in a number of categories including amateur, professional, age group, original design and use of color for the chalk drawings designed at the event. Education will be the main theme for the event. Students and faculty from K-12 and higher education will be encouraged to participate. Booths for sponsors and ACC departments and programs will be designed as interactive educational experiences, such as face painting for art students, nursing simulation man demonstrations and an Alchemy Club magic show.
