(November 12, 2010 – Littleton, Colorado) – Explore the lasting Roman and Greek influence on art, architecture, history and languages in the Mediterranean world this summer on a 19-day tour of Spain, France and Italy. Arapahoe Community College (ACC) is offering this unique study abroad program to ACC students as well as community members beginning May 16 and ending June 4.
Participants will have the opportunity to examine art and ancient architecture, discuss Roman and Greek influence on both ancient and modern urban and rural areas and trace the development of Romance languages from Latin to their contemporary form.
Students can earn three semester credit hours in Art History, Western Civilization or History of Romance Languages.
The cost of the program is $3,500 which includes lodging, breakfast, several meals, guided visits of historical sites and museums, all transportation once in Europe, instruction and insurance. Airfare is not included. Tuition for ACC students is additional.
