Discover ACC at Nov. 10 Group Visit Day

(LITTLETON, CO - November 6, 2009) -- More than 300 students, family members and counselors are expected to attend an open house visit day at Arapahoe Community College called "Discover ACC" on Tuesday, Nov.10, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. More than 80 visitors attended a similar event last spring.

The group visit day provides an opportunity for prospective students, family members and high school counselors to see what ACC has to offer. It will be a program style visit day where those in attendance will check in from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the west entrance of the ACC Main Building and mingle with each other.

A continental breakfast will be served before visitors move to the Waring Theatre, where they will receive an enrollment and financial aid presentation. A detailed campus tour and a tour of the Art and Design Center will follow. After the tours, attendees will proceed to the Half Moon, Room M1800, where they will have the opportunity to meet with faculty and staff members of ACC departments and programs and lunch will be served.
