Admission Information for New International Students:
- The application, International Student Application Form, should be completed in full, and your responses must be legible and in English.
- Proof of high school (secondary) graduation;
- official English translations of academic records including diploma and transcripts from your secondary and/or post-secondary institutions is required.
- Unless the school or ministry of education issues the document in English, both the original language and certified English translation of each document are required.
- Please have the school or ministry issue official transcripts to ACC. If this is not possible, send certified copies of the documents along with the application.
- Official U.S. high school transcripts and/or GED results must be sent directly from the school/agency to ACC.
- Proof of English Language proficiency by one of the following:
- Minimum score of 57 on the new internet-based TOEFL. Official test scores must be sent directly to ACC from:

The ACC code is 4014 - Minimum score of 75 on the Official Michigan Test if taken at Spring International Language Center.
- Successful completion of an ACC approved English Language school program (Spring International Language Center, ELS, University of Denver Intensive English Center).
- STEP Eiken test pre-1st level
- Minimum of 5.0 on the IELTS exam. http://www.ielts.org/
- TOEFL is not required for applicants who have graduated from an U.S. high school
- Proof of financial resources by one of the following:
- Statement of Financial Guarantee and a current bank statement demonstrating a minimum amount of US $23,200 available to support your studies. Affidavits of Support and financial statements must be original (from the bank or financial institution). Applicants with dependents will require additional living expenses. The guarantee must indicate your relationship to your sponsor and include your sponsor’s signature
- Letter of sponsorship from an Embassy. Applicants who are sponsored by a government agency or private company must submit verifying documents.
ACC is a public-supported college. Scholarships and financial aid for students attending on a student visa status are not available. Tuition for international students with a student visa is based on Colorado non-resident rates.
