Crime Prevention Lecture Requests: Campus Police

The Campus Police Department's crime prevention program is based upon the dual concepts of eliminating or minimizing criminal opportunities. The following is a list of the College's crime prevention programs and projects offered on an ongoing/on request format or scheduled at various times throughout the year. Programs are designed for the needs of the College. To schedule a program call 303.797.5800.

  • Campus Watch Student Orientation. Campus Watch is a program designed to make the College community aware of campus crime and provide information on reporting and implementing community-policing practices to reduce campus crime.
  • Children's Safety Programs. The Campus Police Department offers various safety programs designed for children attending the College Child Development Center.
  • Community Awareness/Personal Safety Programs. Programs designed around personal safety, restraining orders, and personal conflict situations.
  • Sexual Assault and Awareness Programs. Programs to promote awareness of sexual assault, sexual harassment, date rape and Rohypnol are offered.
  • Operation ID. Campus community members can engrave valuables with an ID number, which is recorded with the department. This service is provided as an effort to reduce the number of thefts and aid in the recovery of stolen property.
  • Printed Material. Brochures and educational material ranging from alcohol and drug abuse prevention/awareness to security and safety tips is available at various locations throughout the campus.
