Patrol Division
The Patrol Division of the Campus Police Department employs vehicle patrol, bike patrol and foot patrol to provide safety and security to the campus community.
- Bike Patrol. To enhance personal safety of
the ACC community, the Campus Police Department has a bike program.
The bikes allow police officers to reach locations inaccessible
to the patrol car and at the same time respond quicker than officers
patrolling on foot. Also, the bike program enhances our relations
with campus members and visitors by making the police officer
more accessible and approachable.
- Safety Escort Service. Keep in mind that common
sense is the best key to your personal safety. Don't feel
foolish asking for help if a situation makes you feel afraid or
threatened. Anything that makes you feel uncomfortable is a legitimate
reason for contacting the Police Department. TRUST YOUR INTUITION
AND ACT ON IT!
- MAP (Motorist Assistance Program). The MAP
program is an effort to further serve the College community by
offering campus commuters with "jump starts" for dead
batteries, and "unlocks" for keys left inside the car.
- Emergency Contact Service. A Police Officer
can deliver emergency messages to students in class. Emergency
messages will be evaluated individually to ascertain if they warrant
the interruption of a class. Emergency message requests are made
by calling 303.797.5800.
- Crime Prevention Tips Crime prevention tips are displayed on the campus monitor system on a monthly basis.
Student Services
The student services program provides student ID cards, parking permits, and locker rentals, along with maintaining the campus lost and found.
- Student ID Cards. Student ID Cards may be obtained
from the Campus Police Department. Please bring proof of registration,
payment receipt and a photo ID. A student ID Card is required
for use of the Weber Center for Learning Resources (Library),
pool, computer labs, admittance to some college activities/programs,
the Instructional Computer Center and to sell books back to the
Bookstore at the end of the semester. A valid student ID may also
entitle you to student discount at selected businesses. There
is a $10 replacement cost for a lost or stolen ID. Download Student ID/Parking Permit Form (pdf)
- Parking Permits. Any motor vehicle parked in the Arapahoe Community College main campus, Art and Design Center, and University Center at Chaparral parking lots must display, at all times, a valid Arapahoe Community College parking permit or pass. Students should bring a copy of their current fees receipt and semester schedule to the Campus Police Parking Services office in Room M2630. Fitness Center members can purchase permits at the Fitness Center. Community Education students will have their permits mailed to them.
- Locker Rental. Combination lockers can be rented
each semester in the Campus Police Office for $10.00. The lockers
in the Fitness Center dressing rooms may be used while you are
in the Center, but students must supply a lock and remove it after
use of the Fitness Center.
- Lost and Found. A lost and found service is
located in the Campus Police Department. Throughout the year numerous
items are turned into the office. All items are kept for 60 days.
We encourage you to check with our office periodically if you
have misplaced an item. Proper identification on your valuables
helps us return your property to you faster. If you have lost
or found items call 303.797.5800 or stop by the Campus Police
Department, Room M2630.
Employee Services

- Parking Permits. Any motor vehicle parked in the Arapahoe Community College main campus, Art and Design Center, and University Center at Chaparral parking lots must display, at all times, a valid Arapahoe Community College parking permit or pass.
