International Education Celebration
Join ACC for this year’s International Education Celebration on November 14, 2023. This is an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange, both worldwide and right here at home at our ACC campuses. You may be surprised at how many ACC programs, departments and staff are involved in this work every day for ACC students. There will be food tastings from a few different countries, activities, music, dance performances, and more! This annual event aims to recognize and promote programs that prepare American students to become global citizens and to bring awareness to students abroad, encouraging them to study, learn and exchange experiences here in the United States. This is a national effort and is a joint initiative created by the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education. Learn more about International Education Week 2023.
There will be live performances by Denver Buddhist Temple Minyou Kai Dance Group, Belly Dance "Cultural Caravan" Group and a guitar performance by one of our students Pierre Giguiento. Performances will be help at the Littleton Campus and live-streamed to Sturm Campus. Both locations will have activities and food tastings. (Littleton Campus, Student Lounge, 11:00am - 1:00pm and 4:00 - 6:00pm | Sturm Collaboration Campus at Castle Rock, Main Lobby, 11:00am - 2:00pm).
