Digital Marketing Certificate - Academic Plan

The digital marketing certificate is intended to give students a foundation of business and marketing and to focus on strategies for digital marketing and applying these for meeting business goals. The certificate will also focus on measuring and analyzing applicable strategies using social media, digital analytics and utilizing these concepts to plan a marketing campaign. The certificate will provide students with digital marketing concepts such as digital analytics, social media marketing and digital marketing. Students can also choose from E-Commerce and the buying and selling of goods and services, or the transmitting of funds or data, over an electronic network, primarily the internet or focus on Consumer Behavior and the understanding of human behavior as it relates to marketing and buying.

This certificate is stackable into the AAS Business Administration – Marketing. Students can also transfer and continue on into a B.S. in Marketing at a four year college or university. Upon completion, students can be employed as social media marketers, market research analysts and specialists and search marketing specialists. Students may also go on to become marketing managers focusing on digital marketing.
