Early Childhood Teacher Education Transfer Major AA - Academic Plan

The purpose of a statewide articulation agreement is to identify the courses a student at a Colorado public community college must complete as part of an AA/AS degree to be guaranteed to be able to complete the designated baccalaureate degree program at any public four-year college and university (hereafter referred to as receiving institutions) that offers that program within the minimum number of credits designated by the Colorado Commission on Higher Education.

Program Outcomes

  • Write a position paper on an ECE topic which integrates knowledgeable, reflective, and critical perspectives.
  • Perform a classroom assessment and report on the skills and development of children.
  • Develop an action plan that will improve social and emotional outcomes for children.
  • Create an Integrated Curricular Plan.
  • Create a learning environment that would foster the child's development through age.

  • ECE 1045 and ECE 2381 are only available online during the Spring term.
  • Electives: Nine credits determined by receiving institution.

  • Student must successfully pass BOTH SCI 1055 and SCI 1056 to satisfy the GT Pathways science requirement.
