Study and research of fabric types, fibers, weaves, finishes, construction and dying & printing methods for residential and commercial fabrics and carpets. Emphasis is on selection of appropriate and code compliant products for environmental, durability and life safety concerns. Evaluation, selection and specification of textile products to create aesthetic and functional designs appropriate for residential and commercial interiors. This course must be completed with a grade of "C" or better.
