Why did you choose ACC?
A colleague from CCD's English Department got me into the Writing Center at ACC about 17 years ago and I fell hard for ACC and everyone and everything about it.
What is your mountain (ultimate goal)?
Service Learning....I wish that every student at ACC could experience at least one SL course because those students would learn so much more about themselves, their neighbors, and their planet, realizing what they can do to make things better within their own communities.
What's your favorite ACC memory so far?
Great question....Volunteering alongside ACC students, staff, and faculty at Project Homeless Connect in downtown Denver the past few years (pre-COVID that is) and knowing that we were all doing our best to make the world a better place for those who needed some support from their fellow human beings.
Tell us a fun fact about you.
I'm a winter person. I love snow. I love the cold. I love wearing a hat on my head and mittens on my hands.
