Biography
Cindi Hsu is a composer, pianist, and music educator. She received her bachelor’s degree in piano performance from Tung-hai University in Taiwan, and a master’s degree in composition from New York University. Ms. Hsu’s music is noted for its richness in color, expressive melodic lines and open sincerity. She is the winner of 2018 Bassoon Chamber Music Composition Competition, and her music has been performed in Asia, Europe, and the United States, including Zankel Hall at Carnegie Hall.
