Biography
Born 1978 in Manchester, Connecticut; lives and works in Littleton, Colorado
Katie Caron is presently Department Chair for the Art & Design Center at Arapahoe Community College. Caron graduated from Boston University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science in English Education and minor in Theater Arts. After graduation, she decided to pursue her art full time and moved to Colorado. In 2007, Caron was accepted to the graduate program at Cranbrook Academy of Art in Michigan and graduated with a MFA in Ceramics. She exhibits nationally, completing site-specific installations for the Denver Art Museum, Project Miami, Santa Fe Art Institute, University of Michigan, Bowling Green State University, University of Northern Colorado, Redline Art Space, Republic Plaza, Meow Wolf, Colorado Mesa University and the University of Colorado Center for Bioethics. She was recently reviewed in Daria Magazine for her solo exhibition "Neuron Forest" at the Dairy Art Center, in the September 2023 issue. Katie Caron resides in Littleton, CO with her family.
