Biography
Mayumi Yotsumoto holds a Masters degree in vocal performance from Eastern Illinois University and a Bachelor’s degree from Musashino Akademia Musikae in Tokyo, Japan. She teaches a variety of vocal styles, including classical, Broadway musical, and pop-rock. In her lessons she emphasizes the principles of the Alexander technique, the efficient use of the vocal instrument without creating tension.
