Biography
I started my Human Resources Journey with Comcast Corporation, where I and a team of over 70 HR Specialists supported a staff of close to 150,000 employees from entry level to Senior Vice Presidents. I found that having a “Customer Service” approach to helping the folks in our company served me well. After two years of directly supporting the front-line troops, I moved into an assignment that handled the HR technical tasks to support the field HR leaders. For the next 5 years I was a member of the Comcast HR Transaction Management team. HRTM processed onboarding, off-boarding and all life-cycle transactions so the HR Business Partners, Managers and Generalists could focus on how to best grow and develop the careers of the people they supported. From Comcast, I took an opportunity to work for a smaller company, and joined an accounting firm where I and a team of 30 took care of a group of about 5,000 folks. It was a great experience, but it was almost fully remote and I love collaborating with my associates in person. Today, I am part of a great HR team here at ACC as an HR Technician. I have the opportunity to help support a great group of employees with colleagues who are just as committed to caring for the people in our organization as I am.
