Biography

I am originally from Smith Center, Kansas, grew up in the former Simmons Mortuary (my dad was the funeral director), and graduated from Goodland High School in 2008. After receiving a football scholarship as the kicker at Bethel College in Southeast Kansas, I transferred to then graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder where I earned a B.A. in History, with an emphasis in Holocaust studies and a Certificate from the program in Jewish Studies. I spent eight months conducting post-graduate research in Germany, Poland, and the Netherlands, before returning stateside and starting professionally in funeral service. He is currently the Prep Supervisor for Olinger in Denver, Colorado.
