What is your proudest accomplishment?

Working and living on my own in Paris, France for 2 years and learning to speak French like a native. (I would say my two kids, but let's face it, they're pretty amazing all on their own!)

If you could only eat one meal / food for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Nachos made in the oven with rustic cut cheese, homemade guacamole, sour cream and the bottomless salsa from Chili's with a side of Ree Drummond's Chile con Queso

Polar bear

If you could be any celebrity for a day, who would you be?

Bono

Have you ever taken a class or received a degree from a community college?

Yes! I took an Interior Design course with my mom through ACC’s Workforce and Community Programs when I had just bought my first house. It was fun, inexpensive, and gave me some much needed skills to approach how to furnish and decorate different spaces in a home.

A little something about Sara

I love to travel and learn about different cultures. That has been a passion of mine since I was in high school and it’s important to me to pass that on to my kids. I lived in Paris, France for two years after graduating from college. Photography, scrapbooking, cooking and reading are some of my favorite things to do in my spare time, along with spending time with family, friends and my dog. Camping and any outdoor activities are also things that I love. Colorado is such a beautiful place to live and I’m currently working on my SUP skills! I love photography, scrapbooking, reading and traveling to new places. Australia is on my bucket list - I have always been fascinated by Ayers Rock and Koala bears!

If you could travel anywhere – where would you go and who would you take with you?

Australia has always been on my list of destinations to visit. I have been fascinated by Ayers Rock since I was in middle school and would love to see a koala bear in the wild! But any travel outside of my house, near or far, is always an adventure and I love to experience all of these things with my husband and kids. My mom and I are huge ‘Outlander’ fans (historical fiction book series) and a trip to Scotland with her to visit some of the areas referenced in the books would be amazing.
