Join us for STEM Café: Waterfowl Migration in Littleton on March 4 from 11:30am - 12:30pm in M3690 (Littleton Campus). Hear from guest speakerCindy Robinson, Park Interpreter and Nature Center Coordinator, Certified Interpretive Guide, 20 years volunteering and working at South Platte Park.

South Platte Park in Littleton is recognized nationally as an important bird area for winter habitat for waterfowl. From a few mallards in the summer, the waterfowl population soars to over 25 species and thousands of birds. Volunteers have conducted citizen science counts for over 35 years. Join a naturalist from the Park to learn what ducks are visiting, what they are looking for or how their behavior changes, and what the long-term count data tells about changes in the area.
