Diversity and Global Learning Achievement Certificate

Develop cultural knowledge and awareness with a Diversity and Global Learning (DGL) Achievement Certificate. Each course in the program will help you develop critical and reflective skills so you can live and work in the diverse world around you. 

Why Should I Get a DGL Achievement Certificate? 

Courses within this certificate program will help you discover and explore other cultures and perspectives. You'll learn more about diversity, equity, and inclusion and how historical and current social differences shape, and have been shaped by, political, economic, and cross-cultural relationships around the world. These courses are also designed with transfer in mind and will give you an edge on future diversity requirements and competitive admissions processes. 

In today’s workplace, employers value professionals who are able to navigate the complexities of a diverse and interconnected world. Make yourself even more competitive by building your cultural competence and diversity mindset.

How Do I Get an Achievement Certificate? 

To earn the Diversity and Global Learning Achievement Certificate, you must take and earn a C or higher in 4 courses marked as DGL. 

The Diversity and Global Education achievement certificate courses help students to learn and think critically about diversity, equity, and inclusion on both local and global levels. Courses in upcoming semesters include:
