Haley Timothy Nursing Endowment

Haley Timothy Nursing Endowment

The Arapahoe Community College (ACC) Foundation is honored to announce the Haley Timothy Nursing Endowment to provide an annual scholarship for ACC Nursing students in perpetuity. Read the Littleton Independent feature story.

This scholarship has been established in memory of Haley Timothy, an ACC alumna who was tragically killed in an automobile crash on October 23, 2022, at the age of 20.

Haley was born March 25, 2002, in the southeastern Chinese province of Jiangxi. She was adopted by Chris and Jay Timothy and came to the United States in April 2003. Upon Haley’s adoption, members of the Timothy family were given red string bracelets in reference to the Chinese proverb: An invisible red thread connects those destined to meet, regardless of time, place, or circumstance. The thread may stretch or tangle, but never break.

Haley graduated from Littleton High School in 2020 before completing her Nurse Aide certificate at ACC in 2021. She passed her CNA licensure and worked as a Patient Care Tech at Sky Ridge Medical Center. Haley continued her studies at ACC and was intending to apply to the ACC Nursing program.

Haley loved music, concerts, and working with the patients and staff at Sky Ridge. She is survived by her parents and brothers Dylan and Trevor.

Donations to the Haley Timothy Nursing Endowment are now being accepted, and ACC Nursing and Nurse Aide students may begin applying for this scholarship in October 2024.
